Memorable Swims

The winter after I started kayaking we ran the Tohickon in mid-January after a heavy rain. We did the first run pretty well, I rolled once and was feeling pretty good. At take-out we met a local paddler who wanted to do a run with us. His wife gave us hot cocoa as he got ready and we did another run. Wound up swimming 6 times (pre drysuit or drytop days), and I was never so cold in my life.
