Gov. The Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit 16 in Lewisburg is getting more than $1.5 million dollars to teach about traditional US history. The Department of Education awarded the CSIU to teach US History as a subject separate from social studies, civics or other subjects. It will be disturbed over three years, and allow teachers to be trained professionally in what they need to convey to students in an exciting and engaging manner.
