Picture of of Ed's Alfas

The firm of A.L.F.A, "Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili" was extablished in 1910 and built it's first 24 HP car. In 1920, engineer Nicola Romeo attached his own name to that of A.L.F.A. and helped the firm to a spectaular series of successes in national events such as the Mugello, Brescia, Targa Florio, Coppa delle Alpi, Coppa della Consuma, etc. At the end of 1951 Alfa Romeo gave up racing to intensify its manufacture of production cars.

This picture shows 3 of the Alfa Romeos that Ed has had a hand in restoring. The picture was taken in 2003 at Le Belle Macchine d' Italia, an Italian car show and event in the Pocono's, and at Pocono International Speedway.

Each car has a story. The blue and white Duetto is Ed's daily driver. The "Rosso" red Duetto is Ed's show Duetto. The '69 GTV is also a show car. Click on the picture to read the stories behind these and other Alfa Romeo cars that Ed owns and is restoring.
