The 1969 model of the GT Veloce featured a 1750 cc engine. It is a sporting G.T. combining the high speeds, handling, safety and braking of a competitive car with real elegance, refinement and comfort. Veloce means fast in Italian, and this car, with Spica mechanical fuel injection and the fabled Alfa 5 speed transmission was as fun to drive as it was to look at.

Here is Ed with the car in 2003 at Le Belle Macchine d'Italia, where he won first in class. Road and Track Magazine was covering the show, and featured Ed's GTV along with a number of other fine Italian Sports Cars in it's August TV show. Here they are filming the GTV.

The '69 featured very unique bucket seats found only in the '69 model.

Ed purchased this GTV from Oscar Sterle, a boyhood friend of the famous race car driver Juan Manuel Fangio. Click here to go to Ed's Juan Manuel Fangio Page. Oscar had refinished the exterior. Ed finished the interior.
