MAPS AND DIRECTIONS

Directions to Marine Corps League Museum, 1340 Alder St., Scranton, PA
 If coming north on I380 at Scranton take I81  South
Take the MOOSIC ST/PA-307 exit, exit #184     
Turn Right at the end of the ramp onto MOOSIC ST     go 0.1 mi to traffic light
Turn Left on MEADOW AVE  go 0.2 mi to 'T' intersection
Turn Left on RIVER ST   go over I81 [**Continue - road changes name to E. MOUNTAIN RD] about 0.2 miles to the 2nd street
Turn Right on WINTERMANTLE AVE [small sign on left for MCL Museum] go 0.2 mi
Turn Left on ALDER ST - Stone bldg in front of you at top of the hill is museum

 From Wilkes Barre area using I81 North the same exit is marked RIVER ST/(PA-307), exit #184
Turn right on River St. at the end of the ramp and go two blocks up the hill.
Turn Right on WINTERMANTLE AVE [small sign on left for MCL Museum] continue up hil 0.2 mi
Turn Left on ALDER ST - Stone bldg in front of you at top of the hill is museum

It is also a possible route for some to come north via Route 307(Moosic St.).  Follow above directions by turning left onto Meadow Ave after passing under I81.
Directions to Pocono Pines, American Legion Post 413, Old Route 940

FROM NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY - Take I-80 West into Pennsylvania. After 16 miles in Pa, merge onto I-380 towards Scranton. In about 3 miles take first exit marked "Pocono Exit 3." Turn left (West) on Pa Route 940 for 4 miles to traffic Light in Pocono Pines.  Approximately 100 yards past the light bear off to the right on Old Route 940 and follow it for about 2 miles to the Legion Hall on your left.

- FROM CENTRAL NEW JERSEY - Heading west on Interstate 78, exit onto US 22 toward Phillipsburg. Take US 22 into Pennsylvania and exit onto PA 33 North. Follow signs to Bartonsville and I-80 West. Take I-80 West to I-380 North exiting at the first exit (Pocono Exit No.3) Turn left (West) on Route 940 for 4 miles.  Approximately 100 yards past the light bear off to the right on Old Route 940 and follow it for about 2 miles to the Legion Hall on your left.

- FROM PHILADELPHIA - Take the N.E. Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit #95 (Formerly Exit 35) "Pocono Interchange" then Left (East) on Route 940 for 14 miles to the traffic light in Pocono Pines. (You can turn left at Stony Hollow Road (see bottom map), but if unfamiliar with the area you might miss it, otherwise just before the light make a hard left onto Old Route 940 and follow it for about 2 miles to the Legion Hall on your left.)

- FROM BINGHAMTON - Take Interstate 81 to Interstate 380, Exit #3 (Pocono), then Right onto Route 940 West for 4 miles to the traffic light in Pocono Pines.  Approximately 100 yards past the light bear off to the right on Old Route 940 and follow it for about 2 miles to the Legion Hall on your left.

- FROM NEW ENGLAND - Take Interstate 84 to Interstate 380 East to Exit #3 (Pocono), then Right onto Route 940 West to the traffic light in Pocono Pines.  Approximately 100 yards past the light bear off to the right on Old Route 940 and follow it for about 2 miles to the Legion Hall on your left.

- FROM HARRISBURG - Take Interstate 81 North to I-80 East to the Blakeslee Exit 284 (Formerly Exit 43). Then Left on Route 115 (North) to traffic light on Route 940. Turn Right (East) at light onto Route 940 for 8 miles to  the traffic light in Pocono Pines.  (You can turn left at Stony Hollow Road (see bottom map), but if unfamiliar with the area you might miss it, otherwise just before the light make a hard left onto Old Route 940 and follow it for about 2 miles to the Legion Hall on your left.)
