Download Anita

The following link will take you to the April System Design website where you can download a 30 day trial version of Anita. The trial version WILL notify you when the 30 days is up and will no longer allow you access to the program. You must contact Abacus Systems if you plan on using Anita past the 30 day trial because you will need a license code. Cost of a license is $100.00 (USD) and is only good for the one PC it is installed on. Each PC with Anita needs it's own license code.

After downloading the Anita program, it will need specific configuration depending on your connection and system setup (dialup connection, TCP/IP, VPN, etc.). Please call or email Abacus Systems to have the configuration files sent to you. If emailing please specify your windows version and connection type.

If you intend on accessing your Unix server over the internet, you will need a special "enterprise" edition of Anita that includes security. The cost of Anita Enterprise is $150 (USD).

Please also note that if the PC has a printer that you want to use from RMS, or if you want to use the Unix server as a Windows file server, you may need a Fusion95 license. If this is the case contact Abacus Systems to order the license. Cost of the license is $100.00 (USD) per PC. Note that Fusion95 is being phased out because newer versions of the operating system include software that does the same thing at no cost.

If you are using the new RMS hotscreens, there is an additional charge of $50 per PC. This requires a special version of Anita that must be obtained directly from Abacus Systems.
