Ode to an Apricot

I need no honey,
I am naturally sweet.
If I had any more sugar,
I'll hurt your teet-h.


Tilton, Patterson, Turkish,
Castlebrite, and Blenheim.
No matter what the variety,
My tastes are superbly sublime.


Nutrients galore!
From potassium to fiber,
I've also beta-carotene,
To help prevent cancer.


They use sulfur dioxide,
To preserve my color.
If they used none,
I'd be alot duller.


Golden, plump, and firm,
Juicy, ripe, and sweet.
A fancy apricot I am,
And scrumptious to eat!
