The service road descends to the left approaching the reservoir. The boat launch is right and the control tower is center. The tower is accessed from the top of the dam wall. The wall is 3,000' long and 1,000' thick at the base.

Along the service road are scenic views of small waterfalls as well as picnic tables and a frisbee golf course.
