Doesn't He Look Like...

The latest shenanigans for the FLEA Baseball League is a comparison of our league members to folks who (mostly) play(ed) the game. See what you think. Do they look pretty close, or is there someone that matches up just a wee bit better.

Rule Changes for 2003 (Hoping for 2004 list soon!)

(These were voted upon at the end-of-season party, 2003)

Rule Changes concerning Free Agents: At the beginning of the season, each team is given 100 "free agent dollars," which can be used during free agent periods, which are due by the end of the first day of each month between May-September. A team owner can submit a request for a player and assigns a dollar value to acquire him. If he submits the highest value, that person acquires the player, and his salary becomes the amount paid. Actual cash paid to the commissioner will be $3. That player is eligible as a keeper for the following year at $3 above the bid price. A player is not permitted to submit bids for players in a total greater than the amount remaining in their account, even if their intention is not to acquire all of the players they are bidding on. Trading to acquire additional free agent dollars is not permitted.

Final Word: If you have any suggestions, or if you would like to receive e-mail notice any time there is an update on the page, let Rick know your e-mail address either through Andy at fasnacht@paonline.com; or by e-mailing Rick at buzznbea@ptd.net.
