Survivor 4 Pool:Vecepia is the Fourth Survivor
When
Maraamu was getting decimated early in the immunity challenges, it
seemed likely that the winner was not going to come from that tribe.
When Kathy chose Sean to be ousted from the tribe, preferring to side
with Neleh and Paschal, it seemed that Vecepia's luck had run out.
But a little twist of fate, some luck and Kathy's desire to not
expose herself during the final challenge enabled Vecepia to reach
the final two, and in a narrow 4-3 vote, defeated Neleh to win the
million dollars.
Her victory meant that Laura Beamesderfer was our pool top prize winner, earning a nifty $70 as a result. In Pool B, it was Kathy Blankenbiller winning a comfy $35 for her top showing. Neleh owners did not leave empty-handed. Ruth Glissen won $10 in Pool A, and Kristy Brewer got her entrance fee back, winning $5.
Meanwhile, us Kathy owners, who thought when she survived the random stone vote she was in line to go all the way, can only live with the thought that if she could have gotten to the end, she probably would have won. And Paschal owners, you poor things. I believe this is the first time a contestant was voted out without anyone ever voting against him. Tough luck, but that's the way the game goes, I guess.

Stay tuned for Survivor 5 this fall in Thailand. We will plan to run another pool then... though likely only one instead of two.

On this site you will see the final results from Survivor IV Pool A, and Survivor IV Pool B.
There is one big difference between the two. The players in Pool A paid $5 per contestant, while the Pool B players paid $5 for two contestants. We have filled all of the slots in Pool A, and the top prize in that game will be a whopping $70, with a nice $10 runner-up prize for the second-place winner. Pretty nice, eh. The top prize in Pool B will be $35 for first place, $5 for second.
Oh, if there is an astericks (*) next to a name, that means that that person has not paid yet.
