Progressive Development, Part 5

The 5th chapter in the "Progressive Development" video series. As work progresses on Sam North's first "sales" issue (where sales are tracked and the final results ultimately determine your level of success as an editor), he is introduced to the company's practice of "job enlargement," and he's given the added duty of interviewing a candidate for the company's junior editor position. (Note: Ed Satell, the successful owner of the company, portrays the junior editor. Ed is a salesman who started his newsletter company with no prior writing experience.) Editor Valerie Vance gets Sam up to speed, recalling some of Rob DeBarge's notorious exploits along the way, including his sexual harassment lecture for members of the staff, and his crass honesty that ended in a regrettable puppet fight.
