Including Johnny Lee's whiteboard and VR head tracking both with great results and a much greater understanding of the concepts regarding Infrared emitters and receivers, wiilib development, working with bluetooth stacks, and the possibilites of VR tracking.

SSH Tunneling

In combat with clear text packets containing usernames, passwords, emails and instant message conversations on untrusted or insecure networks you must use some sort of encryption or tunnel to a secure trusted location. Read my article on creating a secure SSH tunnel with any spare machine you have laying around.

Moodle

Its been a while since I've updated this site. I've been busy with school and work and everything else. Recently I put together a server for a woman who was interested in teaching online classes. I used open source software called Moodle. Moodle could really be used in a lot of other applications rather than online classes. The NCC Linux Club is working on a project for an organization to use Moodle as a user friendly communications tool.

NCC's Security Wardrive

Security War Drive went well! The beta version of the Wi-Fire out performed 4 separate omni directional cards (internal and external) by about 33%! Tthis is now on the market I would definitely pick one up. On the drive we picked up 906 separate access points with the Wi fire and an average of about 600 with the ordinary omni directional cards. The new retail version is smaller and mounts on the screen of the laptop nicely.
