PA State Proposed Education Budget 2009-2010 - Public schools will get a $300 million boost in Basic Education spending. This is the largest in history. Last year the increase was $278 million for Basic Education (the largest increase ever). PA Public Schools will all also get millions for Title 1 (spending to help low income kids do better in school) and Special Education funding through the Stimulus Funding. This is the money promised, but not delivered earlier for NCLB.
