Accessing & Navigating World Wide Web Resources


Course Objective

The objective of this course is to introduce the learner to a variety or World Wide Web resources and several available tools available for navigating the World Wide Web. At completion of this course, the learner will be able to:


  1. Locate and use a variety of WWW resource lists to obtain information.

  2. Locate and use several World Wide Web informational search tools.

  3. Use several World Wide Web search tools to information on a pre-selected topic.

To gain the most from this course, you must connect with informational World Wide Web sites external to the course. Follow the course instructions and brouse the content of the external sites. If the site is of intrest to you, use the bookmark feature of your brouser to capture the site's address for a return visit at a later date.
