In addition to being active in band, chorus and stage productions as a student at Pocono Mountain High School, Dottie spent summers at the Pocono Playhouse working in a number of positions both backstage and in the house. While residing in Charlotte, North Carolina, she performed with area orchestras and was a founding member of the Charlotte Flute Choir. Upon her return to Pennsylvania, she helped form the Flute Choir of Greater Philadelphia and became active as a recitalist. A B.S. in Mathematics from East Stroudsburg University prepared her for her current position as a secondary mathematics teacher at Pocono Mountain East High School. In addition to her duties as our director, she also operates a private flute and piano studio in the Snydersville area.
