"Sunny"
(AKC/ASCA/CKC CH Summertime Gemini of MontRose CD ROMX III "Kole", CGC x CH Winterhaven's Jenny Any Dots "Jenny", TT)
(Bred by Diana Oliver-Gemini & Shirley Merithew-Tutelo)
Known to his friends as the Sun-man, Sunny was killed in a tragic accident. He was the puppy that wasn't staying; I was only going to grow him out for Diana. But I knew after just a day or two that he was never going anywhere. We had so much fun showing; he loved it. But anything he got to do with me was fine by him. He had eleven ASCA altered points, needing only majors to finish his championship. He changed my mind about male dogs; he showed me how wonderful they can be. He was so devoted to me. And you couldn't be sad with him around; he was always happy. No dog could have been loved more than he was.....by all of us. Thank you, Diana, for letting me have him that day.
My beautiful red dog. I miss his bouncing and barking when I come home. I miss him lying at the foot of my bed every night, in the spot where he could see out the window. I miss him lying plastered against my back when I take a nap, and sitting between the seats when he got to go in the car, and his prancing and tossing his head after retrieving a ball, and I miss his hair and his grunting and talking.
