Here's the place to show off what you've got. If you've written a particularly good essay, or even one that's just "OK," but that has some really nice elements, this is the place to put it out there for people to see. But it's not just for essays you've written for class. If you've got some poetry you want people to read, or any other kind of creative writing you're proud of, send it to me as a Word attachment, and I'll check it out. I can't promise that everything you send me will get posted; after all, it's my web site and has to have some editorial control, but I'll try to put up anything that's good. So get writing!
