My first motorcycle was a '66 Kawasaki 150cc street bike. I was @14 years old at the time, so it was used as a dirt bike. The next bike I had was a Kawasaki KE175 (1976?) Then I had a Honda 125 Elsinore. Next, was a Kawasaki KZ400. Then a 400cc Kawasaki dirt bike. Next was an '82 Kawasaki 550LTD . And then I bought my first NEW bike. I really wanted a Harley, but I couldn't afford to part with $15K for a Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic. So, instead, I bought this '99 Honda Shadow Spirit. It's an 1100cc V-Twin. I bought it at Matto's Cycles.They beat another dealer's price on a '97 leftover by $300!!! So, if you're in the market for a Honda......Check them out!!

I installed a Mustang seat on it and it is so much more comfortable!!!!
For 2005 I installed a set of Cobra Slash Cut Drag Pipes. I left the
baffles out of it and rejetted the carbs accordingly. Sounds GREAT!!!

In 2006 both Kathy and I bought new Harleys. Mine was
a Chopper Blue Softail Standard, hers was a Glacier White Dyna
Lowrider. Shortly after buying them, I found out that Harley was
bringing back the Softail Custom for '07. Kathy, the GREAT wife she is,
told me to trade the standard in on the Custom. I chose Jake &
Elwood Blue for the colors! I picked it up in December '06. In July of
'07 Kathy decided to give up riding her own, but insisted she wanted a
comfy back seat if she was to become a passenger again. Her Lowrider
was traded in on an '08 Electra Glide Ultra Classic in Candy Red Sunglo.
