Mike Tracy's Home Page

I graduated from Tamaqua Area High School, Tamaqua , Pa.  Class of 1975.  I enlisted in the Marine Corps where I worked as an Avionics Technician (MOS 6620) at MCAS Beaufort, S.C. I finished my 4 year tour as a Corporal. I then attended Lincoln Technical Institute where I graduated 2nd in my class, obtaining an Associates Degree in Electronics Technology. I retired from  Agere Systems (formerly Lucent Technologies)(formerly AT&T)(formerly Western Electric) in 2004. I spent about a year working on an apartment building I purchased that needed ALOT of work. I returned to the workforce in November 2005 as a mechanic for Lowes distribution center. I spent about 6 months there, then moved onto another job at a pharmaceutical company where I am currently the Maintenance Manager.

Some of my hobbies include motorcycles and old cars.

My gun collection includes: Ruger P89 9mm semi-automatic, Smith and Wesson model 622 22 cal semi-automatic, Phoenix Arms model HP22 22 cal semi-automatic (see a pattern here?) and THE CANNON: An Ordnance Technology SSP-86 in .223 cal w/2 1/2x-7x Redfield scope. It is the same as a Magnum Research Lone Eagle and has a 14" barrel. The semi-autos were purchased partly because of the Brady bill!!
