Your BEST Bet?
AVOID Rottet!!
My son Joe purchased a 2006 Ford Fusion from Rottet Motors in Tamaqua, Pa. The trans, started popping out of gear and would grind when putting it into gear. He took the car to Rottets to make an appt. to have it looked at. the mileage was just under 36,000 miles. This was on Wednesday March 5. The appt was for Thursday March 6. He ended up working late and called to tell them so and wasn't sure when he would be able to reschedule. He went there Saturday because their website said their service dept was open Saturdays (they are actually open 1 saturday per month). Their service dept wasn't open.  Today is Tuesday March 11, and today BOTH of us were told it is now out of warranty and WILL NOT be covered. It has 36,673 miles on it! Their best offer was to pay half of the $3000 bill. Because Rottet didn't document the mileage, it is not being covered.
IS THAT HOW ROTTET AND FORD DO BUSINESS?
Rottet is the last remaining New Car dealership in Tamaqua. Maff, Hosak and Keich are closed now. Will Rottet be next? With business practices like this, one can only hope!
