All of the attributes described here are extremes and most people will exhibit tendencies toward the middle. Even so, it still may not reflect everyone, as most often, people are a combination of 2 (or sometimes more) Signs.  They are simply here as examples, and, naturally, the attributes will vary from person to person

 Aries the Ram- (March 21-April 20) Its element is Fire, and it's ruling planet is Mars. The birthstones of Aries are Bloodstone and Diamond. Attributes:  energetic, confident, dynamic, and quick-witted, selfish, quick tempered, impulsive, impatient, and foolhardy

Taurus the Bull- (April 21-May 20) Its element is Earth and its Planet is Venus. Taurus’ birthstones are Sapphire, and Jade. Attributes: patient, reliable, warm, loving, persistent, determined, placid, jealous, possessive, resentful, inflexible, self-indulgent, greedy, and security loving. 

Gemini the Twins- (May 21-June 21) its element is Air, and it's ruling planet is Mercury. Gemini’s birthstones are Agate, and Smoky Quartz Attributes:  adaptable, versatile, witty, instinctual, eloquent, youthful, lively, nervous, tense, superficial, inconsistent, cunning, and overly inquisitive

Cancer the Crab- (June 22-July 22) It's element is Water, and it's planet is the Moon. Cancer’s birthstones are Moonstone, opal, and pearl.  Attributes: emotional, loving, intuitive, imaginative, shrewd, cautious, protective, and sympathetic, changeable, moody, OVER emotional, touchy, Clingy and unable to let go. 

Leo the Lion- (July 23-August 22) its element is Fire, and it's ruling 'planet' is the Sun. Leo’s birthstones are Ruby, and Fire Agate. Attributes: generous, warmhearted, creative, enthusiastic, broad-minded, expansive, faithful and loving, vain, pompous, patronizing, bossy, interfering, dogmatic, and intolerant.

Virgo the Virgin- (August 23-September 22) its element is Earth and it's ruling planet is Mercury. Virgo’s birthstones are Sardonyx and Carnelian. Attributes:  modest, shy, meticulous, reliable, practical, diligent, intelligent, fussy, a worrier, OVER critical, perfectionist, analytical, and conservative.

Libra the Scales- (September 23- October 22)  its element is Air, and it's ruling Planet is Venus. Libra’s birthstone is Sapphire.  Attributes: diplomatic, urban, romantic, charming, easygoing, peaceable, idealistic, gullible, easily influenced, flirtatious, and self-indulgent.

Scorpio, the Scorpion- (October 23- November 22)  its element is Water, and it's ruling planet is Mars.  Scorpio’s birthstone is Aquamarine Attributes: Determined, forceful, emotional, intuitive, powerful, passionate, exciting, magnetic, jealous, resentful, compulsive, obsessive, secretive, and obstinate.

Ophichus (or Serpentarus)- the Serpent Holder or Serpent Wrestler (November 30-December 17)  the "thirteenth" Zodiac Sign- Not too many people who are aware that there is a 13th symbol in the Zodiac that for the most part has been overlooked. There are many reasons for this, but it would be novel in size trying to explain everything. For the most part, Ophiuchus has been left out because of our modern calendar (12 months, 12 signs). Supposedly Ophichus (known as Asclepius) was the Son of Apollo and a mortal woman. He was  given the power by the goddess Athena to resurrect the dead including the more famous Orion, the hunter. He was killed by a bolt of lightning from Zeus who had been requested to do so by Hades. As Asclepius was resurrecting, Hades was worried that the Underworld was not getting as many dead as he should be. He was turned into a constellation to appease Apollo. Not much is known about Ophichus as a Zodiac, except that those who were born under him share the attributes of both Scorpio and Sagittarius, the Element is spirit, or Akasha. The Birthstone is Unknown. His symbol was also the Caduceus.

Sagittarius the Archer (often a Centaur)- (November 23- December 21) Sagittarius' symbol is the archer (often depicted as a centaur), its element is Fire, and it's ruling planet is Jupiter.  Sagittarius’ birthstone is Topaz.  Attributes: optimistic, freedom loving, jovial, good humored, honest, straightforward, intellectual, philosophical, blindly optimistic, careless, irresponsible, superficial, tactless, and restless. 

Capricorn the Goat (often half Goat half Fish)- (December 22- January 20) its element is Earth, and it's ruling planet is Saturn.  Capricorn’s birthstone is Turquoise Attributes: practical, prudent, ambitious, disciplined, patient, careful, humorous, reserved, pessimistic, fatalistic, miserly, grudging, over conventional, and rigid.

Aquarius the Water Carrier- (January 21- February 19) Its element is Air, and it's ruling planet is Uranus.  Aquarius’ birthstones are Amethyst, and Lapis Lazuli. Attributes: friendly, humanitarian, honest, loyal, original, inventive, independent, intellectual, intractable, contrary, perverse, unpredictable, unemotional, hedonistic and detached.

Pisces the Fish- (February 20- March 20) The element is Water, and it's ruling planet is Jupiter.  Pisces’ birthstone is Moonstone.  Attributes: imaginative, sensitive, compassionate, kind, selfless, sympathetic, intuitive, unworldly, escapists, idealistic, secretive, vague, weak willed, and easily led.
