These are pictures of my first mobile, a 1967 Ford Mustang (which affectionately earned the nickname "U-Tan" as some of the letters started falling off of the trunk). These pictures were taken in the fall of 1976, right after a "scare" campaign where we attempted to frighten some troublemakers off the channel by giving them the illusion that we were with the FCC.  Yea, in retrospect, it seems like a dumb trick.  But at that time, many people were paranoid about the FCC and actually believed that they ran around in cars and vans with "numerous antennas".  I just played into that paranoia.  If you look real hard you can make out the extra antennas which I had stuck on the car for this purpose, including my DF loop on the driver's side.
