Here is my Nova 3000 lathe and the
stand I built for it. The stand has 4x4 pine legs in an "A" configuration with the
front legs vertical. They are boxed with plywood and filled with sand. The back is
is a sheet of 1/4" plywood. The shelf on the bottom is for wood storage, for extra weight.
The main piece, where the lathe is mounted, is a man-made wood beam called an Anthony Power
Beam. On the right hand side of the stand is my accessory table which is shown in another picture.
