My boss cut down a dead white
birch tree and asked me if I wanted some. Dumb question, of course I wanted
some. Although I tried to get spalting (black fungus lines) in the log it just
started to rot instead. The piece does have some nice coloring though. Its another
small bowl, 7" diameter by 2" high. Its finished with Krylon Matte Finish and
then buffed using the Beal system.
