I have been privileged with a good
supply of osage orange for the last few years. This 2" diameter by 5" tall hollow
vessel is just one of many small items I've turned from this wood. It is definitely
the hardest native wood I have turned. The bright orange yellow color does darken in
time to a deep russet brown.
