Yet another in my series of bleached
aspen hollow vessels with contrasting rims. The photo doesn't show it well but the
rim is bright blue dyed maple. This piece has both sapwood and heartwood. The
sapwood bleaches out to almost pure white while the heartwood retains some of it's
golden hues. The worm-holes add some interest. The finish is Krylon Matte Finish
spray. It is 8" high and 5" in diameter.
