Fine Woodturning by Tony Manella |
This is the first in my series
of bleached aspen hollow vessels. Inspired by a trip to the woodturning center
in Philadelphia, I spray painted the inside of this vessel flat black. I really
like the bottomless effect this gives. The finish is Krylon Matte Finish spray.
This vessel is 4" in diameter and 7" high. This piece was damaged at a show and
I had to alter it. See the repaired piece below, its red now.
