Willow is an extremely soft wood. On top
of that this piece had a dead area and I knew I was not going to be able to get a good smooth
finish so I decided to give it a textured finish. The wire brush gave it a really fuzzy feel
that was very enjoyable so I decided to go with no finish on this piece. This southwest
influenced piece has the inside painted flat black and a red rim. It measures 6" in diameter
and 3 1/4" high.
