Notes

John Morrow was also known as John Marrow. He died November 26, 1866 at the army hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from a stroke suffered while on a long march in Virginia. John's son, James Morrow, was in the 3rd PA Cav. Information supplied by his great-great grandson.

Forgus Cannon was Fergus A. Cannon, son of Alexander Cannon. He enlisted 4/10/1862 at the age of 13 years 9 months, served throughout the rest of the war, and was discharged 5/13/1865. Fergus was the youngest soldier to shoulder a musket. Information supplied from his great great niece.
