RULES & REGULATIONS OF OUR CHOICES DROP-IN CENTER

 

1.  Accept responsibility for yourself.

2.  Be respectful and courteous to others.

3.  No drugs or alcohol permitted at the Drop-In Center.

4.  If you are suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol you will be asked to leave the Center immediately.

5.  We will not tolerate any profanities or obscenities.

6.  No solicitation of any kind.

7.  No arguing or physical fighting. The police will become involved immediately if a physical fight develops.

8.  Smoking is permitted in designated areas only. Ashtrays are for cigarette butts only, no papers or garbage.

9.  We ask that you sign in when you arrive.

10. Drop-In members will be held responsible for family & friends brought to the Center.

11.  No bumming of cigarettes or money at the Drop-In.

12. The Drop-In Center is not responsible for articles that are lost or stolen while visiting the Drop-In.

13. Lewd & pornographic materials and/or conversations are prohibited. This includes the computers – chat, email, internet, etc.

14.  Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

15.  No weapons on the Drop-In premises.

16.  We ask that you maintain acceptable personal hygiene.

 

CONSEQUENCES OF RULE VIOLATION

 

NOTE: The Steering Committee has the final say on consequences.

 

FIRST OFFENSE – UP TO A TWO MONTH SUSPENSION

SECOND OFFENSE – UP TO A SIX MONTH SUSPENSION

THIRD OFFENSE – SUSPENSION OR POSSIBLE EXPULSION FROM THE DROP-IN CENTER
