Automated Giving Program:

Simply Giving is Here!

Everyone can grow, everyone can benefit from this automated giving program, called Simply Giving.  We invite you to consider participating in this new program which provides a convenient and reliable way to transfer your gifts to Bergstrasse Church automatically from your checking or savings account.

Simply Giving is for all of us: young or older givers, monthly and weekly givers, those who are accustomed to having other commitments (mortgages and car payments, for example) handled through automatic transfer, and those for whom this would be a new, and welcome simplifying of life.

Enrollment is beginning NOW—so take a few moments to consider the program and ask yourself:

·         Wouldn’t it be a savings of time and money if I didn’t have to write a separate check every week?

·         Wouldn’t it be reassuring to know that my gifts would arrive at Bergstrasse, automatically and dependably, each month at the same time?

·         Wouldn’t it be a relief not to have to hunt for the envelope that I was sure I left right over there, next to the cookie jar?

Forms are available on the bulletin board or display table.  Complete the form using black ink.  Indicate if the contribution should be taken from your checking account (attach a voided check) or savings account (attach a savings deposit slip.)  The minimum amount for each transaction is $5.

Fund transfers can be made

·         Weekly on Monday

·         Weekly on Friday

·         Semi-monthly (on the 1st AND 15th of each month)

·         Monthly on the 1st

·         Monthly on the 15th

If you want to change your contribution, simply fill out a new form.  If you want to stop the transactions in the future, see Jean Wilhelm to have a stop electronic payment form completed.

The cost of this program is covered by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans so there is no additional charge to you or Bergstrasse for this program.

We now have a convenient means of putting first things first—allowing technology to simplify our giving to God’s work first.
