Welcome to the Pastor Call Page!

The Call Committee at Bergstrasse is working on their Congregation Profile.  Included in this information will be an invitation for perspective pastors to check out this page on our web site.  We have included a picture and a few videos to give a sneak peak at our facilities before you come for a visit.

Double click on the pictures to launch the larger picture or videos.  The video files were purposely reduced in quality so that the files would not be too large.  Please contact the Call Committee if you have any questions.

  •  Afghan celebrating Bergstrasse's 250 year anniversary.   The main building was most recently rebuilt in 1896.  The main entrance is the left most door.  This enters the hall, which was added in 1964.

  • This shows the main entrance into the hall lobby.  (No surprise, the doors are red.)  That big sign is from the float in this year's Ephrata parade.  The sanctuary is to the right.  The other door leads down stairs to classrooms below the sanctuary and the hall.  The video leads us past the restrooms and mailboxes.  It finishes with a pan of the pastor's office.  It looks very bare without the books and personal decorations.

  • This is the main hall that hosts meetings and pot luck dinners.  The air conditioners are occasionally used on hot summer days when the service is moved into this room.  The adult Sunday school class is meeting.

  • Here is a quick 360 of the sanctuary taken after most of the congregation has left.  The door on the left leads to the hall lobby.  The back left door is to the bell tower.  The stairs lead down to classrooms and nursery.  The back right door goes outside.  The front right door leads to the hallway and kitchen.

  • This shows the art room and computer room that are used for Sunday School.  This is on the lower level of the hall.

  • The chat room and movie room are shown here.  Yes, those are real theater seats.  The large screen TV can be used for movies or computer presentations.  3D games also work well!  Snacks and grace are free.  Breakfast is served with Sunday School.

  • This large room serves as a nursery and the preschool Sunday School room.  Children's names are painted next to the insects on the walls.

  • This is an outside shot showing part of the 13-14 acres.  It starts with the church and the recently paved upper parking lot.  It pans past the sexton's house (not the best view), and shows a side of the parsonage.

  • This outside shot is from the corner of 322 with the off-ramp from 222.  It shows the new sign displaying "God can hear you now!"  (Think recent Verizon adds.)  This view includes part of the cemetery, the back of the parsonage, and the church on the hill.
