Promisedland Volunteer Fire And Ambulance

Another year has passed and once again we are asking for you support. The Promisedland Volunteer Fire Company & Ambulance corps is continuing to provide
volunteer fire and emergency medical services to the area for over 50 years.
Please remember that your donations will help us to continue to provide these
services.
We like to thank everyone for their kind words and support this year. Our company lost two of our members this year, our long time Chief Kenneth Schafer and Captain Chris Hubbard. The support of our community during this time was greatly appreciated.
We have seen a rise in our emergency call volume in the past 2 years. This means more time for our volunteers to dedicate to the area. This also means more expense for the fire company. Our company operated mostly by donations and fund raising. Fund raising means volunteers giving more time once again. Your donations will help the Promisedland Vol. Fire Ambulance Corps continue to provide service to the area. When making or deciding to make you donations, please always remember in the event of an emergency it's nice to know that your community and township has a volunteer emergency company to assist you any time of the day or night. Our company is here for you, and your family.
Sincerely,
Promisedland Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Corps
Amy Walck - President
Terry Walck - Chief
Back in the 1950's the Promiseland Vol. Fire Company was born. People of the area joined together as one to make this Fire Dept. a reality. For over 50 years, people of the community have volunteered to help their neighbors in that time of need. What makes a Fire Dept? It is people who Volunteer their time to help others in that time of need. Through the continued spirit of volunteerism, the fire company is almost 60 years old. Back in 2005, construction on a replacement building for Fire Station number 1 was started and the building was dedicated on October 14, 2006.
