WorkI am employed by Bloomsburg University where I earn my living as Java Programmer. I do quite a bit of administrative stuff (RedHat, MySQL, Apache Tomcat, etc) but my primary role is to design and write scalable object-oriented MVC (model view control) Servlet-driven applications that are used by the students, faculty and staff at BU.

Down time Much of my free time is spent riding bike. I love riding on the back roads of Central Pennsylvania as well as those long Sunday afternoon mountain bike rides thru Bald Eagle State Forest (BESF) with 'the Group'. I average between 25 & 35 miles most week nights and, oftentimes, more on the weekends. Last year (2004) I rode just over 4,000 miles. Every ride matters, and every able-bodied American should get out and walk, run, or ride bike at least three times a week.
