SOME RANDOM THOUGHTS Monday, December 23rd, 2002: 2:00PM: Good to see that I was keeping this updated, no? :) Sorry, this just isn't very high on my priority list. Lots of stuff has happened in the past year, here are a few highlights.... Chose a site for our wedding/reception. We'll be having that at the Hideaway Hills Golf Club in Broadheadsville, PA. They have a great setting for it. The ceremony will be outdoors, the reception in a ballroom that has a good view. Hopefully there will be some fall foliage at the time, though it may be a little early for that. That was item number one. Number two was a beautiful trip to Cancun, Mexico. If you like the ocean, go here. No two ways about it, the beaches are beautiful. Go scuba diving or snorkeling at the reef too, but make sure that it is a guided tour of the actual reef, where you get in amongst the coral. Save some time for the ruins as well, Chichen Itza has some interesting features (archaeological and scientific) while Tulum has some of the most incredibly picturesque scenery in the Cancun area. That's all for now. See ya next year (hopefully sooner)! Monday, February 11th, 2002: 2:30PM: Stayed home sick today. Michelle and I were planning on heading out to investgate possible locales for the wedding ceremony/reception this weekend, but she was sick all weekend.... now it's my turn. Hoping I will make it back to work tomorrow, we'll see. Anyway, now I'm home here, sick and BORED! Should work on my sister's web site I guess. Should also study for the CCNA so I can retake and pass the damn thing. Also have a shitload of stuff to work on down at the office when I get back. I need a vacation. :-) Bye now! Monday, November 19th, 2001: - Christmas Shopping, ack! Coming up with ideas for everybody on your list, ugh! - Relaxation! Day to myself! Needed the break, head was about to explode! - Kitties! Nature's stress reducers! Sunday, November 18th, 2001: 9:53PM: Nothing important happened today? Well, that's what the opening credits to the X-Files said anyway. That's also a quote from King George III's diary (at least according to the same episode). The quote isn't applicable to many of my days though. Today was no exception. Went to a wedding reception for one of Michelle's coworkers. The topic of discussion inevitably headed toward our own engagement and impending wedding. We told everyone the story of how we decided to have our wedding at Blue Mountain Vineyards. Unfortunately, the vineyards are fighting their neighbors and the township to retain the ability to hold any gatherings at the winery. Now we're not sure what will happen. But it was a good thing that the topic came up, as a suggestion was made that we could have the ceremony at Blue Mountain Ski Lodge. Worth looking into! ![]() Head back home! |
