Many....Many thanks to all who made 'Meet the Panthers' a success and especially to those who were able to lend a hand over the past few weeks to get this organized, and those who helped at the field  during the event. My apologies to those who have items on backorder. Unfortunately, that is out of our control. As soon as the shipment is received, it will be distributed. Your child should have had a letter in his bag explaining this situation.

 

Now that it is behind us, the rest of the season is 'cake'.

 

Just a reminder...supper club for the Varsity will be at the PALACE  in Lansford for this Thursday night only due to functions being held this weekend at the Zoo/HalfTime. The team is scheduled to be there about 5 p.m. so those who have volunteered their time to help serve can be there around 4:45-5 to be ready for the team.

 

Jr-Hi parents need to note the team will have pizza after practice at the cafeteria on Thursday. Many thanks to those who have volunteered to lend a hand in feeding the team. We will also be sending Hoagies/drink to the Mahanoy area game to feed the team on the bus ride home. If you can help to see that the food gets taken up and distributed after the game, let me know.

 

The JV game scheduled for next Tuesday at Mahanoy Area has been changed . It is scheduled to be played on Saturday at 10 a.m.

I am sure that is weather permitting.

JUST TO KEEP YOU UPDATED:

The next two weeks will be fast and furious for us....everyone's help is greatly needed and appreciated so we can achieve our goals and to service the team in a manner they are custom to. 

 

For those who will be at camp all day. Please remember to pack snacks for your morning break. Those new to the program should consider packing:

FRUIT- BANANAS/WATERMELON/CANTALOUPE/ORANGES/GRAPES/APPLES

CEREAL BARS

PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICH

CELERY & PEANUT BUTTER

SPORTS DRINK - no iced tea...no carbonated beverages

 

Consider packing complete changes of clothing.

Lunch will be provided Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs..served at 12:30...Deb Rogers is in need of a few helping hands to serve the players. Two extra sets of hands a day will help greatly. If you can spare an hour of your time please call or e-mail her. (645-3742 toddskid@ptd.net ).

 

Picture Day/Media Day will be Monday the 21st. All seniors will be photographed (whether or not you are purchasing a picture packet) These pictures are needed for the program book. Various newspapers will be there to photograph players and hold interviews. Parental help is needed for this day also. It begins at 3 pm. at the High School. If you can help out on this day please call me or e-mail me. Be at the school around 2:30

 

Interested in helping with 'Meet the Panthers' just let one of us know. Alot of help is needed for preparation & the day of the event.

 

Please be reminded of the RETURN DATES on the various forms that are included in the booster packet. No guarantees can be made to include returns after the date.  EARLY RETURNS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
