About St. Peter's Church

St. Peter's church is located in a rural area outside of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. This historic area offers beautiful scenery all year long, with nearby communities holding seasonal festivals and activities. Furthermore, this area offers quality school districts. St. Peter's is the home of two denominations (ELCA and UCC), united as one congregation brought together though shared ministry, calling one pastor to lead them. The congregation prides itself on being neighborly, where everyone knows each other, and new faces are always welcomed as if they were that of an old friend. Being a family-oriented church, there are many groups and organizations ranging from those for the young to those who are young at heart. Since 1991, our church has been the home of St. Peter's Preschool, which has been a very successful learning and social experience for the children of our community.
