You might say that these rock'n'rollers were a sign of the times in the 70's or 80's... but they were't a sign of the TIMES... They were A SIGN OF INTELLIGENCE, an intelligence that has since been lost in music in the nauseating nineties. (and this decade is no different)
That's right! No sellouts here, no quasi-philosophical re-interpretation of something they did in the past...THESE GUYS ARE FOR REAL! And...for those bands or artists who have gone on..they have left us with with an immortal and eternal collection of music transcending the tests of time! Also, they, unlike most of today's crap, don't depend on PAYOLA to stay in the charts and be played 8 trillion times a day! (Don't 'chya hate CORPORATE). Their music has priority and is reality, and that's the way it's gonna stay!
(and for all you 90's fans...they and their music just ain't gonna go away)
