I still enjoy building and
operating kits. Since the Heath AT-1 I have built the DX-20, DX-40, HW-7,
and the HW8.
The top photo shows the K2
under construction. The bottom photo shows the completed K2.
Note my solution to keeping the paddles in place with out the need for two
hands. I mounted the Bull-Dog paddle on a piece of plastic with a grove in
it for the tilt bail to rest in. The weight of the K-2 keeps the paddles in
place.
